Mailroom Clerk Job
Under moderate supervision, you will collect, sort, and prepare all incoming and outgoing mail and parcels for delivery. You will also complete forms, warehouse functions, fill customer orders, and receive and ship stock. Additionally, you will operate print center equipment to fulfill customer printing requests. Responsibilities: Receive and deliver United States mail and packages, inter-company mail, and third-party carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Deliver mail promptly and follow established procedures for daily routines. Operate mailing equipment such as Folder Inserter, Postage mailing system, UPS World Ship, and Intra internal/external tracking system. Receive and process print and forms job requests via electronic, phone, or walk-up methods. Operate various print center equipment, including but not limited to copiers, folding machines, collators, hole punches, cutting tables, and other bindery equipment. Collate, bind, and package print jobs for customer delivery. Check for quality and accuracy of print jobs. Maintain proper stocking levels of print materials and supplies. Understand technical print industry terminology to communicate effectively with technicians as needed. Essential Skills: High school diploma or GED. 1 year of customer service experience required. Valid state driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn Adobe Acrobat Professional, PeopleSoft, Money Matters, Intra reporting, and Web CRD ordering and production roles. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Basic mechanical skills and good problem-solving ability. Physical ability to lift up to a 50-pound load to a height of 5 feet using safe lifting techniques. Ability to walk at a moderate pace for extended periods and stand for 6-7 hours per day. Work Environment: The typical work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
