SUMMARY Load, unload, inspect, and clean metal parts to carry out the required Heat Treating Process ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow written instructions and any other applicable procedures to ensure product is processed according to customer requirements Perform applicable quality checks as stated on UGA heat treat instructions Operate heat treat, cleaning, and inspection equipment safely and efficiently Ability to drive forklift is valuable, but not needed (UGA will provide training) Maintain a safe and tidy work area Additional duties as assigned TECHNICAL SKILLS Moderate level of computer skills including but not limited to a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, statistical, and manufacturing software is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Communication, problem solving, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills are important qualities for a successful job performance. WORK ENVIRONMENT Perform duties in a high temperature environment during the summer months.

2nd shift Monday through Friday 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. shift pays $3.00 per hour shift differential
