Job Title:
Contracts Negotiator/Manager Location:
Hybrid – Austin, TX 78727 Contract Duration:
8-month contract, with potential extension up to 12 months
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Contracts Analyst/Negotiator
to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial sales agreements across multiple routes-to-market. This role will collaborate with counsel, contracts managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely execution of contracts while maintaining a consistent and rigorous approach to contractual standards, templates, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial sales agreements.
Partner with internal counsel, contracts managers, and stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
Ensure adherence to standardized contractual , templates, and lifecycle automation processes.
Review, refine, and proofread contract documents with a high degree of accuracy.
Support the development, approval, and management of contract templates.
Respond to contract-related requests and provide guidance or education to business teams.
Coordinate and facilitate global cross-functional reviews with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
Balance multiple priorities and contractual matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Provide project management support, including tracking objectives, milestones, and status updates.
Key Qualifications
6+ years
of experience drafting and negotiating commercial sales agreements.
In-depth knowledge of
commercial legal principles
and contractual best practices.
Proven ability to
frame, draft, and negotiate agreements
effectively.
Strong
written, verbal, and analytical communication skills , with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to be persuasive while maintaining a
positive customer/partner experience .
Experience managing
global, consumer, enterprise, education (bids/reps/certs), government, and health & wellness agreements
is a strong plus.
Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines with
high-quality, detail-oriented work .
Strong project management skills and ability to drive alignment across stakeholders.
Education
BA/BS required
MBA or Paralegal
