Bartenders mix, garnish, and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and creativity, support our vendors through seamless service, and help set the energy of our space.
Our bar integrates with everything happening at Mashup-from coworking and hotel guests to neighbors dropping in for a night out. The right bartender thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments and brings both hospitality and hustle to every shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and attentiveness.
Mix and serve drinks that meet Mashup's specs and quality standards.
Guide guests through our bar menu, highlighting vendor pairings, signature cocktails, and zero-proof options.
Abide by all state and federal liquor laws, including responsible service practices.
Maintain bar readiness: stocking, prepping syrups/garnishes, glassware, fruit, and mixers.
Record all transactions accurately in TOAST POS; handle cash/credit securely.
Keep the bar area spotless-wipe down counters, restock supplies, wash glassware, and support runners as needed.
Communicate clearly with FOH team, vendors, and leadership to ensure smooth service.
Support events and activations (DJ nights, chef collabs, ticketed tastings, etc.) with setup, service, and guest interaction.
Upsell food, drink, and event offerings with confidence and enthusiasm.
Report guest issues, safety concerns, or equipment problems promptly.
Contribute to the vibe: be present, be professional, and bring the energy Mashup is known for.
