Warehouse Associate II is an active member of the Operations department. The function requires strong interaction skills with the different departments: Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Logistics, Technical Services, and Facility Management. Warehouse Associate II is responsible for performing day-to-day operations in the warehouse. This position is accountable for receiving, picking and shipping GMP materials to/for various departments within the company. Essential job functions include packing, shipping, receiving, labeling and storing materials; matching incoming shipments to purchase orders and logging receipts into the ERP system; performing inventory cycle counts; researching inventory inaccuracies; collecting and reporting data on Warehouse metrics; interfacing with internal customers regarding Warehouse policies, procedures and customer's inventory needs; providing feedback on processes and methods to increase efficiency and drive improvement; participating actively in a culture that takes calculated risks to test and learn in order to make operational advancements; periodically assisting in Warehouse SOP revisions; coordinating with supervisor on all warehouse activities and performance; and other miscellaneous department related duties as required. Special job requirements include adaptability as work schedule may change based on business needs and a criminal background check. Education required is a high school diploma with an Associate Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred. On-the-job experience required is 2+ years in cGMP Supply Chain with previous experience in materials management / ERP software preferred. Skills required include strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry and cGMP, fluency in English, attention to detail, multitasking, organizational skills, ability to work independently, strong customer service focus, and good documentation skills. Physical demands include working around large machinery, occasional exposure to hazardous conditions, frequent standing, sitting, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 40 pounds, and frequent communication.
