SUMMARY
As a Warehouse Associate/Customs Assembler, you will be an integral part of our facility, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and assembly skills to contribute to our production process. With a focus on assembly operations and utilizing hand and power tools, your role will involve ensuring efficient processes. Previous warehouse experience, combined with a high school diploma or GED, will enable you to excel in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follow basic assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Maintain process cycle time to keep pace with established standards.
- Consistently assemble components throughout work shift.
- Visually inspects filters for any defects.
- Must be willing to work on their feet for the entire shift.
- Report issues, malfunction or defective parts.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience is a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Proactive with Safety, Quality, Trust and Integrity
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for continuous periods throughout the day. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
