Overview

Warehouse Associate II at Savaria Patient Care. This role involves accurately and efficiently shipping orders, unloading materials, and staging inventory in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and ship required products to customers: pull cases, stencil, shrink wrap, palletize, and load trailers using a pallet jack or forklift. Utilize shipping software as applicable (e.g., Dynamics, FedEx Ship Manager, Easy Label, VShip).
• Manually allocate orders entering the warehouse via the WIP process.
• Receive materials and unload trucks. Verify inbound shipments against packing lists, note discrepancies, and notify management of inconsistencies.
• Ensure trailer wheels are chocked before entering the trailer.
• Transport materials to assigned areas, staging as appropriate; maintain a neat and organized work area inside and outside the warehouse.
• Assist other warehouse employees as needed and participate in inventory as assigned.
• Support Quality Policy and Quality System; follow established procedures and propose changes through the supervisor (changes require formal approval in the Quality System).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or GED preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of warehouse experience required; 3–6 months of forklift experience required.
• Language: Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Skills: Experience with forklift, pallet jack, scanner, and shipping platforms; basic math skills.
• Physical: Standing, walking, bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 pounds, overhead lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, squatting, twisting; ability to adapt to changing priorities.
