Job Purpose

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to clients or other company facilities. This role combines driving duties with warehouse functions such as loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse organized.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customer sites.
• Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.
• Inspect materials to meet MRC Global quality standards.
• Stock and transfer materials, tools, and equipment to appropriate locations, following predetermined sequences.
• Label materials with correct identifying information.
• Transfer materials for modification purposes.
• Assemble and package customer orders as required.
• Pull orders for delivery and transfer stock as needed.
• Load onto trucks or transfer to packing areas using forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment.
• Prepare documentation for shipments.
• Follow safety policies, guidelines, and training.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness per OSHA and safety policies.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Ensure safety and report hazards or incidents immediately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn safety regulations and warehouse operations.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Good math and reading skills.

Additional Qualifications

• Legal work authorization documentation.
• Proficiency in English for communication and safety instructions.
• Ability to adhere to company policies and conduct guidelines.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with physical activity.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds overhead.
• Exposure to loud noises and extreme temperatures.
• Standing for long periods and operating heavy machinery.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
