Qualifications:

  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck or stake bed truck.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
  • Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
  • Effective communication skills with customers to provide superior service.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proven commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Preferred: 6 months warehouse experience including forklift operation.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Extra hours may be required.

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary activities involving lifting 0-10 pounds frequently.
  • Light lifting of 10-20 pounds frequently.
  • Moderate lifting of 20-50 pounds frequently.
  • Heavy lifting of 50-100 pounds frequently.
  • Frequent pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching above shoulder, stooping, kneeling, and bending.
  • Occasional climbing, desk work, computer and telephone use, and operating a motor vehicle or warehouse equipment.

Position Overview:

Seeking a dynamic Driver/Warehouse Associate to manage warehouse inventory and deliver HVAC freight and materials. Responsibilities include procurement, processing, dispatching, and transporting products to customers and vendors within a leading wholesale HVAC distributorship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading products daily.
  • Delivering HVAC freight and materials to customers.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and stocking merchandise.
  • Verifying received items against orders for accuracy.
  • Picking, verifying, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Collecting invoices with signatures and returning them to the Sales Center Manager.
  • Maintaining daily truck and forklift checklists and reporting times and merchandise returns.
  • Using and maintaining equipment properly, including OF devices.
  • Assisting with physical inventory and control.
  • Reading and processing customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining a neat, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing PPE.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
