Mid Level Construction Estimator

A growing Rochester GC looking for a mid level estimator.

Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project requirements and specifications.

Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Review and adjust estimates to align with project budgets and timelines.

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.

Track project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the estimation process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

Experience with a General Contractor preferred experience with retail and commercial experience

A strong understanding of construction principles, methodologies, and materials.

Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate project requirements.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.

A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities and project efficiencies.
