Job Description

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
• Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Develop and maintain cost databases, historical pricing, and unit costs
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers on scope and pricing
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess potential project risks
• Prepare and present bid proposals and budgets in a clear, professional format
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather relevant data
