Job Summary
The Marketing Project Manager serves as a key team member for leading DEUTZ Corporation’s marketing efforts by implementing marketing tactics. The role also involves evaluating and developing marketing tools to assist in creating POS materials and measuring key metrics. The Marketing Project Manager will liaise with various sales teams (regional sales managers, OEM business development managers, service sales managers from the DPC locations, aftermarket sales professionals and Chief Sales Officer) along with other internal stakeholders. This role will assist in managing and organizing company conferences, trade shows, and other significant events. The ideal candidate must have an enthusiastic attitude and results-driven spirit. In addition, the candidate should have some limited sales experience to deal with various personality types.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists with managing social media platforms, along with DEUTZ Corporation websites, while directing sales leads to regional engine sales managers, DEUTZ Power Center Service Sales Managers, or appropriate sales related associates on a daily basis.
- Provides marketing expertise to distributors, dealers, DPC staff, customers and internal stakeholders that may have inquiries.
- Assists with creating and managing promotional items, POS materials, spec sheets and print ads.
- Assists with handling logistics for both DEUTZ products and people for trade shows, DPC open houses, and other internal events.
- Maintains branding integrity for the DEUTZ and DPC logos while ensuring compliance with existing brand guidelines. This includes assisting with the production of all branding elements and collaborating with vendors regarding DEUTZ logos for signs, service trucks, building interiors and engine decals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately solve problems
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work with multiple departments and personalities
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Must have exceptional decision making and communication skills with the ability to follow through on assigned projects and multi-task while under pressure
- Familiarity with graphic design files, as well as print production terminology
Supervisory Responsibility
- While this role does not have direct reports, this person is extensively involved in working closely with outside vendors
Travel Requirements
- Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0 - 10% depending on business needs
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or higher degree in marketing or related field
- 3+ years of progressive marketing experience
- Basic knowledge of marketing best practices
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills
- Exceptional project management experience
- High competency level in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
Physical Requirements
- Office work environment with quiet to moderate noise level (When working remotely, the home environment must be conducive to a work environment)
