Overview
As a Social Worker at CHI St. Vincent Little Rock, you will be a part of a dynamic team that works together to provide comprehensive care coordination for acute care patients to ensure a safe, timely, and appropriate discharge.
Every day you will be helping to care for patients and families dealing with social and mental health issues, chronic and debilitating diseases, and ethical situations requiring social work knowledge and expertise that will allow them to transition safely to the next level of care.

We are offering a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 to hires who meet eligibility requirements, plus referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Work with Registered Nurse Manager to provide timely and efficient identification of patients who need discharge planning.
- Provide assessments of psychosocial impact of illness.
- Provide direct services including discharge planning for patients needing community resources prior to discharge from the acute care setting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree required.
- A current unencumbered Social Worker license to practice in the State of Arkansas is required. Provisional NOT accepted.
- BLS within 30 days
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
- Must possess organizational skills, able to prioritize work.
- Must possess demonstrated training, knowledge, and skills necessary/appropriate to the adult, and/or geriatric age groups
Pay Range
$23.11 - $34.38 /hour
