Role Description The transportation industry is changing fast—and we’re looking for someone who can help shape that future with deals that define an industry. In this role, you’ll negotiate complex, high-value agreements that bring together experts across operations, technology, legal, finance, real estate, development, and construction—all to accelerate the shift to electric and autonomous vehicles. If you’re a strategic dealmaker who can align diverse stakeholders and deliver results that work for everyone, we want to connect.

Reporting to the General Manager of AV + Rideshare, functioning as a core member of our AV + Rideshare business team to drive forward relationships with existing customers in their growth with Terawatt and develop new engagements with prospective customers.

A key focus will be on strategic customer relationship development, negotiation of contracts, commercial engagement, translation of customer needs to our solution set, and becoming a strong voice of the customer throughout Terawatt to impact project execution.

Role requires wholistic ownership of commercial engagements with customers and formation of long-term strategic partnerships. Balances enterprise-level internal leadership in shaping cross-functional priorities, while serving as the senior point of engagement with key customers and partners.

Core Responsibilities

Lead deal execution including leading contract negotiations with customers, coordination between customer and internal teams, and being an expert on our product to translate between customer needs and Terawatt solutions

Develop and lead dynamic customer account programs, iterating on our engagement process and contract structures across multiple products

Contribute to our AV + Rideshare program internal coordination

Work cross-functionally with Real Estate / Development / Construction / Operations / Technology to present the customer lens to our Real Estate priorities, acquisition and development pipeline, and project touchpoints throughout buildout

Coordinate with Operations team to ensure a healthy customer experience for onboarding and throughout the term of our live sites

Ensure that our processes and systems are designed to provide an exceptional experience for our customers' varied needs

Lead contracting efforts across product offerings with Legal

Own customer relationships to create lasting value to our organization

Be a strong contributor in go-to-market strategic analysis

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of related experience, negotiation of long term contracts in energy, real estate, data centers is a plus

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s a plus

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across San Francisco, Bay Area. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, interview performance, and geographic location.
