Sourcer
to help build Mariana’s world-class team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for
identifying, engaging, and delivering top-of-funnel talent
across technical, engineering, and business functions. You’ll partner closely with our Head of Recruiting and hiring managers to strategically map talent markets, craft outreach campaigns, and ensure a steady pipeline of candidates that enables us to move fast on critical hires. This role is an opportunity to shape how we attract exceptional people who are excited to solve the looming critical minerals challenge and scale Mariana into a category-defining company. Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles. Strategically source passive candidates across multiple channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, professional networks, referrals, events). Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Craft compelling, personalized outreach to engage candidates and drive response rates. Conduct initial candidate screens to assess interest and alignment before passing to recruiters/hiring managers. Track and manage candidate pipelines in our ATS (Ashby) with high attention to detail. Deliver insights on talent markets, competitive intelligence, and sourcing strategy effectiveness. Qualifications
Must Haves 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally in tech, engineering, or startup environments. Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft compelling outreach. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail in managing pipelines and candidate data. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for building teams. Nice to Haves Experience sourcing for technical roles (software engineering, hardware engineering, chemical processing). Familiarity with Ashby or similar platforms.
