Position Overview
This role can be based remotely in the US. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Energy Strategy to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to supply the energy required for our data centers. This role involves identifying and prioritizing partnerships, as well as producing comprehensive reports that meet defined metrics. This position is critical in supporting our commitment to sustainability and ensuring a reliable energy supply. Essential Job Functions
Energy Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive energy strategies to ensure a reliable and sustainable energy supply for our data centers. Analyze energy market trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions. Partnership Management: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partnerships with energy suppliers, utilities, and other stakeholders. Negotiate and manage contracts with energy partners to secure favorable terms and conditions. Reporting and Analysis: Produce comprehensive reports on energy usage, costs, and sustainability metrics. Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to align energy strategies with overall business objectives. Provide expertise and guidance on energy-related matters to support decision-making processes. Additional duties as assigned by Management. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy strategy, energy management, or a related field. Strong understanding of energy markets, natural gas infrastructure, energy generation technologies, and energy regulatory frameworks. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement long-term energy strategies. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Knowledge of energy regulations, natural gas regulations, and energy environmental rules. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Extensive experience using Microsoft Office tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word) for managing and reporting throughput, status, and labor allocation. Travel is required and expected to be up to 20% to 30% and may increase over time as the business evolves. Physical Demands and Special Requirements

Salary Range: $160,000-$170,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations) This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and AD&D; short and long-term disability coverage; paid time off; 401k with company match; and other voluntary benefits. Compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside the shown range.
