A publicly traded, multi-state energy company is seeking a
strategic HR executive
to join its senior leadership team as
EVP & CHRO . This leader will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy during a period of growth and transformation. The Role The CHRO will lead all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, organizational development, succession planning, executive and broad-based compensation, employee engagement, training, and compliance. They will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive team, and board of directors while overseeing a national HR function. Key Focus Areas Build and execute HR strategy aligned with business growth and organizational priorities Drive leadership development, succession planning, and workforce engagement Lead compensation, benefits, and employee wellbeing initiatives Strengthen systems and processes to support culture, retention, and performance Ensure compliance across a complex, multi-state footprint Partner closely with board committees on remuneration, nomination, and sustainability matters What We’re Looking For 15+ years of progressive HR leadership (5+ years at the executive level) Experience in complex, high-growth organizations (energy, industrial, or similar preferred) Expertise in executive compensation, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills Advanced degree and SHRM certification preferred Seniority level
