Head of Design who is also a doer . Someone who can set the direction, build a small high-talent team, and still personally design and ship core product experiences. What you’ll do Lead design across the company, shaping direction and scaling systems. Design product experiences yourself, especially first versions and strategic bets. Hire and coach a small, mighty team (quality over headcount). Apply AI-native design patterns in collaboration with engineering and product. Use AI tools in your own workflow to move faster and push ideas further. What makes you a fit You’ve led design in a startup where ambiguity, speed, and ownership were the norm. You know how to build for power users and complex workflows. You’ve built design systems but aren’t afraid to break them when needed. You love designing just as much as you love coaching others.
