Overview
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused leader to serve as
Director of People Strategy & Experience in MA or FL.
This role leads a team of 5 HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and Organizational Development Advisors, and acts as a key consultant to senior operational leaders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in human capital strategy, organizational effectiveness, and team leadership, with a passion for building inclusive, high-performing cultures. Key Responsibilities
Align workforce strategies with divisional business goals in partnership with senior leadership. Lead and develop a cross-functional HR team to ensure consistent delivery of people programs and services. Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, succession planning, talent development, and change leadership. Collaborate with HR leadership and field operations to implement enterprise-wide initiatives tailored to divisional needs. Manage complex employee relations matters in partnership with legal counsel. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion through data-driven insights and continuous improvement. Leverage workforce analytics to identify trends, recommend solutions, and drive performance improvements. Support enterprise HR cycles such as performance management, compensation planning, and internal mobility. Lead the development and implementation of new HR programs and resources that enhance employee engagement and organizational capability. Coach and mentor team members to support career growth and succession planning. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Employee Engagement Scores : Improvement in engagement metrics across supported divisions. Talent Acquisition Metrics : Time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and internal mobility rates. Retention Rates : Reduction in voluntary turnover and improved retention of high-potential talent. Succession Planning : Percentage of key roles with ready-now successors identified and developed. Compliance & Risk Mitigation : Reduction in ER escalations and legal claims through proactive issue resolution. Diversity & Inclusion : Progress toward divisional DEI goals based on representation and inclusion survey data. HR Program Adoption : Successful implementation and adoption rates of enterprise HR initiatives. Leadership Development : Number of internal promotions and completion rates of development plans. Operational Efficiency : Timely completion of HR cycles (e.g., performance reviews, compensation planning). Stakeholder Satisfaction : Positive feedback from divisional leadership and regional managers on HR partnership and support. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 7 years in a senior HR leadership role with direct team management. 10+ years of progressive HR experience in multi-site or field-based environments preferred. Certifications: HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinking and business acumen. Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills. Ability to influence without authority and resolve complex issues. Cultural agility and a commitment to inclusive leadership. Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
