Software Application Support Engineer - SQL / Financial Services. Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm with 20+ years in the industry. The headquarters are in Greenwich, Connecticut. The firm has over 500 employees and manages more than $150B for various institutional investors. They are seeking an additional Application Support Engineer to join their team and support various software applications throughout the business. Responsibilities
Provide application/production support with hands-on SQL experience Investigate logs and perform root-cause analysis Diagnose issues, debug, and collaborate across teams to resolve problems Support users via phone, email, and in-person communications Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in Application / Production Support with hands-on SQL experience Strong passion for Support Engineering and ongoing growth in application support and system reliability Experience with log investigation and root-cause analysis Experience diagnosing issues, debugging, and working across teams to resolve issues Strong communication skills and ability to support users via multiple channels Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field Team player Experience supporting financial/trading and/or mission-critical applications Location, Schedule & Responsibilities Details
Location: Office in Greenwich, CT (hybrid role: onsite 2x per week, remote 3x per week) Job Title:
