Charlotte Football Club is seeking a dynamic, positive leader to guide the strategy, tactical operations, and culture of the Club's content team. This established leader of people will oversee the teams responsible for social media, video production, game presentation, reporting, editorial, team website and app, and production operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with and leading both high-performing creatives and strategists, and will be prepared to guide the Club to innovate and lead the League in an evolving media landscape. Job Responsibilities

Lead the Content organization with the mindset of a Media Company GM - producing world-class content across platforms at a prolific and expanding rate with the aim to fuel a highly-engaged and consistently growing fanbase, while driving top-line revenue through smart and aligned corporate partnerships and media rights deals. Set strategy and establish channel-right KPIs and benchmarks for all departments relating to content engagement, channel growth, brand goals, and revenue generation; align with department and individual goal setting. Oversee all aspects of social media execution, web editorial direction, live streaming events, and content planning across O&O (web and app) platforms and emerging content distribution platforms. Set yearly budgeting and spending for all teams and lead the development of strategic outside partnerships to increase production capacities, capabilities, efficiencies, and alignment. Lead the Game Presentation team responsible for matchday experience including videoboard presentation, traditions, mascot program, and live entertainment. Maintain and develop a leading matchday presentation program in MLS. Work with CLTFC Creative Director to establish unified look, feel, and voice across properties; ensure content is clearly identified as CLTFC-created rather than simply about CLTFC; foster a unified culture across Content and Creative with shared resources. Collaborate with Creative Department in the relationship of an internal Creative Agency to support event coverage, sponsorable content ideation and production, special projects, and other creative services. Lead processes for staffing Content production roles across major events, especially matches; create systems to achieve world-class match coverage while building efficiencies and a staffing rotation for business continuity and staff well-being. Serve as organizational contact for outside partners (MLS, product vendors, media companies, and others); promote the team's brand and outputs in appropriate digital spaces. Act as the Department's lead contact with Sporting for day-to-day communications, approvals, and alignment; cultivate trust and aligned goals to maintain access to protected spaces for fans and the organization. Partner with Marketing, Creative, and other departments to drive a unified integrated output around MLS and Club tentpole moments; align content verticals to support campaigns in coordination with Creative for Special Projects. Manage senior-level direct reports (Director, Game Presentation; Sr. Manager, Social Platforms; Sr. Manager, Video) and a total team of 13; provide leadership and backfill as needed. Evaluate and nurture talent across departments to elevate performance and develop future leaders. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in content production, content strategy, media, or adjacent space. Substantial experience leading a high-performing team of creative professionals, including direct reports and broader team. Demonstrated experience leading a fully integrated content program. Strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to create and execute proactive plans and pivot as needed. Strong knowledge of best-in-class creative content practices. Strong knowledge of soccer, MLS storylines, and the global soccer landscape. Adept at cross-functional collaboration and providing exemplary service to stakeholders. Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports, business management, communications, or related field. Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in creative content, marketing, or communications. Demonstrated leadership in growth marketing with expertise in digital tools, measurement, and best practices. Knowledge of professional soccer and ticket promotional campaigns. This job operates mostly in an office environment and at times outdoors in a stadium facility; may involve inclement weather.
