Director of Business Development
to drive national client acquisition and strategic market growth. This role focuses on expanding the firm’s reach, identifying new opportunities, and cultivating long-term relationships in key industry sectors. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to generate new business opportunities. Expand brand presence and market awareness across national and regional target markets. Conduct in-depth research on economic and industry trends to inform and guide growth strategies. Contribute to the creation and execution of a comprehensive sales plan in collaboration with leadership and marketing. Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and professional events to stay current with market conditions and competitor activity. Lead the coordination of proposal efforts in partnership with marketing, operations, and project management teams. Travel as required, up to 40%, to support relationship-building and business development initiatives. Qualifications
5–10 years of demonstrated success in business development, preferably within the design-build or commercial construction sectors. Prior experience navigating complex sales cycles and building a book of business from the ground up. Proficiency with business development and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Pipedrive. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred. Why This Opportunity
