The Opportunity That Awaits You:
We are seeking a proactive and data-driven Senior Hospital Marketing Manager to join our team. This individual contributor will play a critical role in developing messaging and value-based marketing capabilities that drive awareness to advocacy among hospital and health system stakeholders. You will serve as the commercial subject matter expert for the hospital audience, collaborating with a high-touch sales team to develop and execute strategies that position PROCEPT as a strategic partner.
This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for defining and articulating our value proposition to key hospital stakeholders, while also directly designing and implementing programs that drive capital adoption, sustainable program growth and Aquablation therapy adoption. The candidate must possess excellent presentation and communications skills and be capable of working effectively with internal and external stakeholders including clinicians and hospital executives.
The Day-To-Day Will Involve
Audience Strategy & Execution : Design and execute strategies targeting hospital executives, IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), and new sites of care to drive capital adoption and program growth. You will develop compelling messaging and content that resonates with this audience.
Commercial Partnership : Serve as the primary partner to the US sales team, developing programs and solutions that showcase Aquablation's value. You will provide messaging, proof points, and persona insights to enable an integrated, cohesive commercial effort.
Value-Based Messaging & Proof Points : Collaborate with the Market Access and Product teams to develop and promote customer references that quantify the value of our portfolio of products and services. You will act as a storyteller who can translate clinical and economic data into a compelling narrative for hospital stakeholders.
Program Development & Scaling : Develop and lead the commercialization of new business models and programs that align with hospital needs and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
Market Intelligence : Proactively stay abreast of hospital industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape to inform and evolve our corporate marketing strategies.
Analytics & Performance Tracking : Partner with marketing operations and analytics to ensure tracking and measurement of all hospital-focused messaging, content, and campaigns. You will analyze performance to optimize future efforts and prove program ROI.
Customer Engagement : Partner closely with surgeon, practice and hospital thought leaders to amplify the value of Aquablation therapy clinically, economically, operationally and strategically
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
Strategic Acumen : Ability to understand complex hospital and health system business models, anticipate barriers to adoption (clinical, economic, operational), and translate them into targeted marketing strategies.
Clinical & Economic Insight : Familiarity with hospital finance, health economics, and value analysis functions; ability to develop and communicate compelling clinical and economic value propositions.
Collaboration & Influence : Proven track record of partnering with sales, clinical, and cross-functional teams to drive adoption and achieve business objectives.
Customer-Facing Experience : Experience engaging with C-suite hospital administrators, service line leaders, and physician champions; able to tailor messaging to varied decision-makers.
Marketing Expertise : Skilled in market assessment, segmentation, positioning, messaging, campaign development, and multichannel execution; able to create technical/clinical collateral and sales tools.
Product Value Communication : Ability to develop innovative strategies and programs that articulate the value proposition of the AquaBeam and Hydros system to diverse stakeholders including urologists, OR staff, PACU staff and hospital administrators.
Competitive & Market Intelligence : Ability to monitor clinical literature, utilization trends, and competitive pipelines to anticipate and respond strategically.
Field & KOL Engagement : Regularly engage with customers in clinical settings, build relationships with KOLs and emerging leaders, and incorporate feedback into marketing initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Making : Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting, utilization analysis, and strategic prioritization.
Change Leadership : Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business environments, manage change, and drive execution effectively.
Communication Skills : Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, written, and listening abilities; able to synthesize clinical, technical, and economic messages clearly.
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
Minimum 8 years of experience in a medical device product marketing and/or product management role (6 years with an advanced degree)
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators/executives, customers, and internal employees.
Professional work ethic, high capacity, strong analytical and organizational skills, and ability to operate independently.
Track record of executing complex medical device marketing campaigns and tactics; experience with capital equipment preferred.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Strong multi-tasking skills with an ability to adapt to change.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
