Overview
Executive Preschool Director/Area Manager. We are seeking a self-driven and highly competent Executive Director to lead and influence our organization towards favorable growth, and to design and direct strategies that support and enhance our organizational operations. Duties for the Executive Director will include managing company assets, optimizing financial operations, providing leadership to all staff, establishing business goals, ensuring tax compliance, advising board of directors on organizational activities, overseeing and streamlining daily operations, improving staff performance, and executing special business projects. Your stewardship and strategic planning skills as an Executive Director will aid our organization in promoting our mission and objectives, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, achieving organizational goals, and maintaining sound financial practices. Executive Preschool Director/Area Manager
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of assigned schools
Manage staff
Manage and oversee financial operations in assigned schools
Provide patience with a listening ear when dealing with staff
Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Demonstrate excellent writing skills to deliver child progress to parents and other teachers
Apply instructional skills to communicate concepts
Participate in staff and training meetings
Present expectations to school management that are appropriate
Build teamwork
Proficient in Word, Excel and all Microsoft products
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field
EEC Certified/DI and DII Certified
Experience managing multiple locations
Solid educational background meeting Federal and State requirements for child care licensing
Strong management skills
Must pass a full background check
At least 10 years of professional experience
At least 3-5 years of supervisory and multi-site management experience with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
Working knowledge of the assigned state's child care licensing codes is a plus
Excellent problem solving, analytical and time management skills
Desire to be part of a performance-driven team
Daily travel to multiple sites
