In this role, you’ll contribute to our core HingeSelect product—a 0-1 initiative designed to extend care for our users beyond their current experience. As a core strategic priority for the company, HingeSelect represents a foundational step in expanding how we support people on their health journeys. You’ll work closely with teammates across design, product, engineering, and research to shape this offering from the ground up. Your responsibility will be to help deliver thoughtful and intuitive solutions to user and business problems, ensuring our product is not only delightful, but also highly usable and inclusive for a broad audience. Partner with product managers, engineers, and other designers to design and deliver key product features in line with business goals and user needs. Translate user insights, data, and feedback into actionable design solutions. Contribute to defining feature-level user experience strategy and propose improvements to enhance usability and member engagement. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that communicate your ideas clearly and effectively. Ensure design solutions follow established brand guidelines and contribute to the evolution of our visual language. Participate in design reviews, contributing and receiving thoughtful feedback to elevate the quality of work. Advocate for accessibility and usability best practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Help maintain and improve design documentation and specifications for clear handoff to engineering teams. This position offers an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. The annual salary range is $116,800 - $175,200 and may vary based on qualifications, skill level, and location. Basic Qualifications

2+ years of experience in product, interaction, or UX design. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, HCI, or a related field. A portfolio showcasing user-centered design process and shipped product work, ideally within web or mobile applications. Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and interaction design principles. Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools) and creating clear, developer-friendly specifications.
