Overview
Director, Product Management - Security Operations at Tanium. The role is to own and maintain the product strategy from ideation to launch for Tanium's AI Agents for Security Operations. The candidate should be strategic and tactical, able to define, communicate and execute the vision, and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders. This is a hybrid position requiring in-person attendance several days a week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA. What You’ll Do
Define and execute an innovative roadmap for Tanium’s SecOps portfolio, aligned with Tanium’s business objectives Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscapes Identify new market and partnership opportunities Present product vision, updates, and progress to internal and external stakeholders Drive adoption of cutting-edge SecOps technologies addressing endpoint security, IT operations, and data management Track and deliver objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and guide improvements Lead delivery of product capabilities from ideation to launch with engineering teams Document customer use cases, product requirements, and business justifications for new features Collaborate with internal teams to develop enablement and training materials for new features and updates Support product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate adoption and strengthen Tanium’s brand Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with Education BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Security or similar domains or equivalent experience MA preferred Experience 7+ years of product management experience with cyber threat analysis, detection and response tools and platforms (EDR, SIEM, XDR) 2+ years leading and mentoring a team of product managers Proven ability to discover opportunities and deliver products Strong track record of working with stakeholders to drive definition and alignment, with excellent communication and influencing skills Project and time management skills Experience with genAI, LLM, and agentic AI in cybersecurity use cases is preferred, but not required Analytical and data-driven; able to define metrics using data and BI tools Experience ideating, developing, and launching customer-facing software products Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to drive alignment Other

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 to $405,000, with actual offer determined by various factors including location, education, skills, training, and experience.
