Product Software Integration Engineer, Sr. As a Qualcomm Product Software Engineer, this role requires working on Product Software development and testing tasks for various projects (e.g., Smartphones (Linux, Android OS), Computing devices (e.g., Laptops), Automotive Infotainment systems, and other consumer products). You will work and collaborate with various Qualcomm Engineering teams (Software, Systems, Hardware, Architecture and Test) to deliver end-to-end product software solutions for a customer.

Responsibilities

Integrate software components and configurations to meet product specifications.

Maintain and enhance automation for continuous integration systems.

Resolve build failures and software interface dependencies.

Create and maintain build scripts to optimize the build generation process.

Manage software configuration using version control (e.g., Perforce or Git).

Announce and release new software baselines.

Product Software Sanity Testing

Sanity test incremental builds to catch regressions on on-target devices.

Debug sanity test failures using on-target debugging tools (JTAG, ADB, simulators, log analysis).

Create scripts to automate test scenarios and process logs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience; or Master’s degree with 1+ year; or PhD (as applicable).

2+ years of experience programming in languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or related.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Arm-based RTOS platforms and Android or other high-level OS for Mobile, Compute, IoT or Automotive products.

Software version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.) for large-scale development.

C / C++ programming and debugging; embedded software development.

Modem protocols (EVDO/WCDMA/LTE/5G) and RTOS software development.

Scripting languages such as Perl or Python; multimedia software development; ARM processor familiarity.

Embedded system debugging (JTAG); Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers and protocols; modem log analysis.

Pay Range and Benefits

$111,300.00 - $166,900.00. The pay range reflects a broad minimum to maximum for the job location. Salary is one component of total compensation, with a bonus program and RSU grants. Benefits details are available from your recruiter.
