Overview
This is a full-time on-site role located in Elgin, IL for a School Age Program Director. The School Age Program Director will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the school-age program, develop and implement curriculum, supervise staff, ensure compliance with state and local regulations, monitor program quality and effectiveness, and maintain communication with families and the community. The Program Director is also responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and conducting staff training and development. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the school-age program Develop and implement curriculum Supervise staff and support professional development Ensure compliance with state and local regulations Monitor program quality and effectiveness Maintain communication with families and the community Manage budgeting and scheduling Coordinate staff training and development Qualifications
Experience in program management and youth development Strong communication skills Proficiency in curriculum development and education Ability to work independently and manage a team Excellent organizational and time-management skills Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred Previous leadership experience in a youth program is an asset
