Head of Investor Relations/Institutional Distribution . THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE US. The firm's HQ is in NYC but the client is open to candidates across the US/remote. This entrepreneurial role will
focus on directly sourcing and closing new business within the Endowment & Foundation (E&F), Family Office, and OCIO channel s. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our institutional AUM, shaping strategic growth initiatives, and leading a high-performing sales and client service team. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow institutional assets , with a focus on E&F, Family Office, and OCIO channels. Personally cultivate and strengthen direct relationships with allocators across priority channels,
minimizing dependency on consultants. Lead and manage a small team of institutional sales and client service professionals , driving the execution of marketing strategy, setting clear goals, ensuring accountability, and providing mentorship through a hands-on, player-coach approach. Lead finals presentations, due diligence meetings, and represent the firm at industry conferences with polished, institutional-grade messaging. Collaborate closely with portfolio managers
and marketing to refine investment positioning based on allocator feedback. Manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring clear reporting on inflows, client engagement, and team progress. Requirements
15+ years of institutional distribution experience,
demonstrating a track record in successfully sourcing and raising substantial capital from E&F, Family Offices, or OCIOs. Deep understanding of equity strategies , particularly in communicating a concentrated value investment edge to sophisticated investors. Established network with key decision-makers , institutional allocators, and consultants across the industry. Proven ability to lead and develop sales talent, ideally with experience in mentoring small teams. Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, with a strong command of sales metrics and pipeline management. Seniority level
