As a General Manager (Head Coach), you'll serve as the operational and cultural leader of your division. This role is accountable for implementing the Brown Haven business model, leading high-performing teams, delivering operational excellence, and fostering a culture that becomes known as the finest custom home builder in the local market. You'll own division performance and ensure our homes are built on time, on budget, and with craftsmanship that exceeds expectations, turning customers into raving fans. Location: Chattanooga Design Center
Type: Full-Time Income Potential: $125,000 annual base salary plus bonus potential of up to $500,000 What You'll Do
Drive production in the local office to hit completions and milestones Coach/Train new Construction Leaders and Trade Partners to hit completions and milestones Be OBSESSED about recruiting and training new Construction Leaders and Trade Partners Lead weekly Production Meetings Lead the office by supporting excellence in sales, construction, and design selections Ensure all construction checklists are completed and verified for every project Approve or decline all job cost variances Attend and price all site evaluations Strengthen vendor and trade relationships through ongoing communication and meetings Join pre-construction meetings with CLs and homeowners Review monthly profit reports and implement performance improvements Follow weekly time-block schedules to stay focused and effective What You Bring
Proven leadership in homebuilding or construction operations Experience in a scattered-lot or custom homebuilding environment Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and forecasting Excellent interpersonal and team development skills Tech-savvy and willing to learn position-specific software Professional demeanor and appearance Familiarity with or willingness to adopt our "What to Expect" customer experience process Obsession over Winning and Hitting Goals Benefits
