Overview
I am currently working with a top tier insurance law practice that is actively looking to hire an insurance coverage partner to join their growing group in Chicago. Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the firm's key shareholders. Represent insurers and reinsurers in complex matters in state and federal court. Handle matters including commercial general liability, professional liability, and Directors & Officers coverage arising from claims involving commercial disputes, construction defects, civil rights, environmental pollution, bodily injury, and bad faith. Assist in the development of junior members of the group. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Active state bar membership and ideally eligibility to practice law in the local state. 7+ years of experience as an insurance coverage attorney. A book of business is not required but is beneficial. Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance. Anticipated base pay range (dependent on experience): $200k$275k per annum. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, wellness plans, and a 401k plan.
