Global Head of R&D for EPM

Job Title: Global Head of R&D for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) The Opportunity: Join Hitachi Energy as the Global Head of R&D for EPM and lead our innovative journey towards the future of enterprise software solutions. How You'll Make an Impact: Lead and manage the R&D Product Group, including software engineering, testing, and delivery. Partner closely with the General Manager, Product Manager Lead, and PMO Lead to deliver quality products. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a global R&D team of approximately 150 professionals. Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company's 2030 plan. Serve as the technology point of contact for customer escalations and opportunities. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization. Drive the development of new products and enhancements to existing products in the portfolio. Manage the R&D budget and resources effectively to meet project goals and timelines. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background: Proven 20+ years experience in product development, software development, or software product delivery leadership. MBA or other related advanced degree, in addition to extensive business experience, is strongly preferred. Strong background in R&D with a focus on leadership and management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet with customers and serve as the technology point of contact for customer escalations and opportunities. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of engineers and technical experts. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions. Experience managing budgets and resources effectively. Willingness to travel as needed. Experience working in a global organization with a matrix structure.
