$89,804.80 - $112,256 (dependent upon experience and location) This position is responsible for the proper execution of the intercompany cycle: posting, balancing and ensuring an accurate monthly close for intercompany transactions within the Avangrid Group. It also includes executing non-cash payment runs and preparing cash intercompany payments in coordination with Accounts Payable and Treasury, and maintaining the intercompany contracts repository in SAP. Major Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the balanced and accurate posting of all intercompany transactions in SAP for over 100 companies within the Avangrid Group. Interact with Control, Consolidation, Treasury, Tax in the US and the Administration team in Spain. Prepare and distribute intercompany invoices as needed, in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory and taxation requirements. Monitor and follow up on aged invoices. Reconcile and balance intercompany Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss general ledger accounts in SAP in line with organizational controls. Clear intercompany debts through intercompany loans and cash payments as required. Maintain the intercompany contracts Repository in SAP (currently over 167 contracts). Adhere to requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Prepare supporting work papers for audit teams and address questions in a professional and timely manner. Backup bank reconciliation team. Assign cash to the appropriate responsible department and clear outgoing and incoming payments through the reconciliation tool in SAP; research outstanding unreconciled items. Skills / Abilities

SAP or other ERP system literacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple organizations in the business. Strong technical skills, analytical capabilities and attention to detail. Experience in demanding environments with tight deadlines. Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook; advanced Excel skills. Minimum of 3 years of solid experience related to the job description or in similar fields. Company
