Job Overview: The successful candidate will join a team of 6 to 10 developers working in the customer service space to deliver new web applications and IVR functionality to both customers and contact agents. This role involves a blend of on-premises and Azure-based work, utilizing a variety of technologies. Daily responsibilities include attending daily SCRUM meetings, completing user story tasks involving design, data extraction, transformation, integration, and testing. The candidate will also demo their completed user stories for the business during biweekly demos. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team to deliver new web applications and IVR functionality. Work on both on-premises and Azure-based projects using a variety of technologies. Attend daily SCRUM meetings and complete user story tasks. Design, extract, transform, integrate, and test data as part of development tasks. Demo completed user stories for the business during biweekly sessions. Handle ambiguous requirements and make progress in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Experience with Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and assertive leadership. Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and follow through to implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn. Understanding of SOLID design principles and secure coding practices. Experience with web services, 3rd party APIs, and tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Fiddler. Proficiency in .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, WEB API, and RESTful services. Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Angular Material. Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React. Knowledge of Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Data Lake Store, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL. Experience with Azure DevOps (Build CI/CD Pipelines). Strong understanding of SQL Server, including SQL tuning, indexing, and query costs. Experience with unit and integration testing.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Azure CLI/PowerShell. Familiarity with Docker. Experience with Oracle databases.
