Responsibilities Coordinating all processes, support, communication and documentation involved in transferring patients from one facility to another facility Support physician consults Recognizing and uphold all regulatory requirements, while updating key stakeholders on timelines Accurately enter all required data into EPIC database Coordinate with Flight for Life for patient transports Schedule 12 hour shifts, 0700-1900, 1900-0700 and 1300-0100. This is a PRN position that requires you to work 5 shifts within a 6 week schedule period, with 2 out of the 5 shifts on weekends. Qualifications One to two years of direct clinical experience in Emergency Room/Critical Care Unit (e.g., Critical Care Tech, EMT-B) OR one to two years of full-time direct administrative healthcare experience (e.g., Nursing Unit Secretary, Patient Access Representative) OR one to two years of Transfer Center experience High School Diploma/G.E.D required Bachelor's Degree preferred Certified Healthcare Associate (CHAA) successfully completed within 18 months of employment. Certification must be maintained while employed Physical Requirements Sedentary work with prolonged periods of sitting and occasional exertion up to 10 lbs.
