Kura Oncology is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on precision medicines for cancer. Our pipeline includes small molecule candidates targeting cancer signaling pathways. Ziftomenib, a once-daily oral menin inhibitor, has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the FDA for relapsed/refractory NPM1-mutant AML. We are advancing multiple clinical programs and collaborations to evaluate ziftomenib and other candidates across indications. Responsibilities

Act as the “CEO” for Kura’s lead menin inhibitor, ziftomenib, fostering mission, creativity, and urgency. Lead the Global Program Team with an empowered multi-disciplinary group of leaders. Develop near- and long-term strategic objectives and recommendations for the asset across all indications from early to late-stage development and lifecycle management. Be the single point of accountability for all Global Program Team activities. Define and lead the core and extended team membership. Coordinate cross-functional business including clinical development, commercial, CMC, finance, and business development. Foster extended partnerships with global program management, commercial and development leads, external partners, and senior leadership. Define strategic direction for the asset, drive execution of asset goals, and ensure alignment across Core and Extended Teams. Build program plans with department leads, identify and mitigate risks, capitalize on opportunities, and manage budgets and timelines. Represent the program to internal and external stakeholders, including collaboration partners and the Board of Directors. Lead key program team meetings and serve as a point of escalation for the program to senior leadership. Help establish best practices for efficient and effective program teams. Engage external stakeholders including health authorities, potential partners, vendors, and KOLs. Drive cross-functional collaboration and own the Asset Integrated Development Plan. Collaborate with corporate affairs on investor communications to optimize external program messaging. Partner with the SVP, Global Program Leadership to evolve portfolio strategy and enhance decision-making and team performance. Qualifications

15+ years of drug development and commercialization experience 10+ years of oncology experience, with preference in heme/oncology Experience with partnered programs (development and/or commercial) is valuable Visible cross-functional leadership experience, including strategy development, communication, and delivery of programs Strategy, project, program, portfolio management, talent development, mentorship, and alliance management expertise Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD) Ability to build trust, transparency, and clear communication plans Ability to connect asset strategy to the competitive environment and company strategy Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and commercial matters at all levels Emotional intelligence and openness to diverse points of view Strong understanding of matrix organization and cross-functional relationships Compensation and Benefits

The base range for a Vice President is 333000 - 368000 per year. Compensation may vary based on factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The package includes benefits, equity, and annual target bonus.
