What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Research and develop production-grade Machine Learning models, optimizing them for scaled production usage

Collaborate with AI team, Engineering teams, and subject matter experts to explore product challenges and recommend ML/AI solutions

Curate and generate optimal datasets while adhering to responsible data collection and maintenance practices

Investigate and address weaknesses of models in production, implementing pragmatic solutions

Write clean, efficient, and modular code with automated tests and documentation, and present findings to peers and stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications)

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math, or related field

At least 5 years of industry experience in Machine/Deep Learning, Computer Science, and Software Engineering

Strong understanding of the mathematics and theory behind machine learning and deep learning

Academic publications in peer-reviewed conferences or journals related to Machine Learning

Proficiency in Machine/Deep Learning development skills, including popular platforms like AWS SageMaker, PyTorch, and more

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience working with text data to build Deep Learning and ML models; experience in other modalities such as vision and speech is a strong bonus

Familiarity with building front-ends for demos, POCs, and prototypes

Experience with advanced prompting, agentic-systems, and fine-tuning or training LLMs

Showcase of previous work (e.g., via a website or open-source code)

Essential dev-ops skills, including Docker and AWS services
