Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations, with a strong focus on inventory control, material handling, and system-based transaction processing. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality during receipt, maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits, and supporting cross-functional coordination with production, purchasing, and quality teams. The ideal candidate has experience using warehouse systems such as SAP, operates material handling equipment safely, and actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential for success in this role. Warehouse Operations & Organization Organize & maintain the warehouse layout, including inventory, products, packing materials, & staging areas. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality and quantity standards. Pack, unpack, stage, and prepare products for storage or outbound shipping according to customer and company requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment. Operate equipment such as high-reach trucks, EPJ, and stand-up lifts in compliance with safety standards. Inventory Control & Accuracy Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate placement and documentation within SAP or other inventory systems. Support the inventory team cross coverage and training Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; execute necessary adjustments Ensure accurate data entry for all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments. Identify and correct labeling errors; maintain up-to-date records to reflect accurate inventory status. Systems, Data Entry & Reporting Enter and manage inventory data using warehouse computer applications and SAP. Support timely and accurate transaction processing to maintain system integrity. Generate, review, and analyze reports related to inventory levels, shipping costs, and warehouse performance. Support implementation and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory and logistics. Process Improvement & Optimization Assist in developing and maintaining best practices for inventory control and warehouse operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and material flow. Additional Responsibilities Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned in a safe and productive manner. Uphold all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
