Salary:
$188k – $250k + strong equity
Company Description We are partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company (Series B, $70M+ raised from top-tier investors) building the future of work. Their platform already powers collaboration for tens of thousands of organizations every week, including major enterprises, startups, and global institutions.
The company is now expanding into AI with its newest product — a category-defining system that gives AI agents true contextual understanding across all workplace tools (Slack, Notion, GitHub, etc.), unlocking the next generation of productivity and automation.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-impact AI team (5–6 senior engineers) where you’ll shape the foundation of a groundbreaking product at the intersection of collaboration, knowledge systems, and AI.
What You Will Do
Design and build integrations to external platforms, expanding the scope of knowledge ingested into the AI system.
Develop core infrastructure systems, including a Privacy/Governance engine that ensures secure handling of organizational data.
Create intuitive product experiences that showcase the power of AI-driven knowledge and workflow automation.
Rapidly prototype new applications of company-specific AI, from intelligent chatbots to process automation tools.
Collaborate closely with other senior engineers to drive technical strategy while mentoring and inspiring peers.
Ideal Candidate Background
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend development skills.
Proven ability to take complex problems from concept to deployment with limited oversight.
Experience at high-bar engineering environments (well-regarded tech companies or early/growth-stage startups).
Prior exposure to building privacy, governance, or security-sensitive systems is a strong plus.
Motivated by the AI ecosystem and eager to work on category-defining problems.
Preferred
Expertise in
TypeScript
(Vite is a plus) and
Python .
Familiarity with
infrastructure technologies
such as Kubernetes.
Experience building with
AI/LLM systems
(Agents, MCPs, LLM APIs).
Background at AI-native or consumer-oriented companies.
High ownership mindset with strong communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary:
$188k – $250k base
Equity:
Strong equity package with significant upside
Work Setup:
Fully remote (US or Canada), with occasional team offsites; preference for New York-based candidates but not required
