Senior High Youth Director: Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church Job Description:

Job Summary The Senior High Director is a key leader on the Youth Ministry team at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, serving alongside the Youth Director and Junior High Director. This role is responsible for overseeing, directing, and setting vision for the Senior High Ministry (9th–12th grade). The primary goal is to lead students in becoming lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ—following Him in every area of their lives, growing in their love for Jesus, connecting with the church, and serving their community. Also, to recruit, teach, and train future leaders of the church in relational ministry. Primary Responsibilities Relational Ministry (40%)

Foster spiritual growth among the Mitchell Road covenant students as well as those from the community who participate in our ministries Disciple students through one-on-one meetings and smaller group meetings Partner with parents to encourage the spiritual growth of their students Recruit and develop adult and student volunteers for relational ministry Teaching and Discipleship (30%)

Develop and lead the Senior High programming, including regular large group teaching Oversee journey group discipleship, co-leading at least one Journey Group personally Provide oversight to the student leadership team in collaboration with Youth Director Pursue ongoing professional and spiritual development through approved avenues such as seminary coursework, ministry training programs, conferences, or learning cohorts, with a focus on growth relevant to the role. Communication and Programming (25%)

Lead, plan, and implement SH program responsibilities Plan and execute events (retreats, mission trips, winter trip, etc.) that foster spiritual growth and community Collaborate with Youth Director and Jr. High Director about overall youth programs Be available to travel 3-4 weeks out of the year for ministry-related events and trips Participate fully in church staff meetings, youth staff rhythms, and other churchwide responsibilities as needed Vision and Collaboration (5%)

Collaboration with Youth Director and Associate Senior High Director for planning and implementation to bring vision and direction to the youth ministry Position Qualifications:

Position Requirements A deep love for Jesus Christ, students, and the local church. 3–5 years of youth ministry experience. Strong relational and leadership development skills. Biblical and theological depth consistent with Reformed theology. Proven ability to build community, connect with others, and spiritually develop leaders. Experience working in team settings and cultivating collaboration among staff and volunteers Application Deadline
