Project Management Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide overall administrative and technical direction for large electrical projects ($20M+) in one of our sectors including: Alternative Energy, Automation, Civil, Power and Line, Technology, Healthcare and Entertainment. You will provide technical and engineering support as required by the projects. Our Senior Project Managers carry the bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss and have the authority accordingly. Day in the Life Oversee total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, National Electric Code, budget, and schedule Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external project members including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen and union officials Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including selection of superintendent, general foremen, foremen, staff volume and wages Provide directions to planning, scheduling and engineering functions Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals Review and approve purchase requisitions, payment approvals, sending invoices, and change order requests Assist in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met Ensure adherence to company client and project policies, procedures, and standards Maintain all official project documentation and logs Provide directions to planning, scheduling and engineering functions Responsible for customer maintenance and other sales and marketing Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects Ideal Candidate Can flex and adapt with the growing needs of the business Can work autonomously and creatively solve problems Has a growth mindset and is always looking to continually learn and grow Minimum Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or IBEW Apprentice Training Certificate or equivalent in job experience Superior communication skills, both written and verbal Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills Knowledge of National Electrical Code Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project Temporary relocation to jobsite as required Experience with Accubid a plus Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus Travel
