Overview
LHH is partnering with a leading financial institution to recruit a Head of Regulatory Reporting. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the U.S. regulatory reporting function. The successful candidate will manage a team of experienced professionals and offshore resources, and play a key role in driving process improvement, automation, and broader finance transformation initiatives. Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and submission of U.S. regulatory reports for banking operations (e.g., FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031/041, Call Reports). Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal control standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, and Technology to support reporting accuracy and timeliness. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting processes. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the regulatory reporting team. Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of regulatory reporting experience within a financial institution or public accounting firm with a focus on banking regulations. Proven leadership experience managing teams and departmental functions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and leading transformation initiatives. Hybrid work arrangement with a convenient downtown Chicago office location. Collaborative and growth-oriented culture with a history of attracting top accounting and finance talent. Compensation
$180,000$200,000 base salary Up to 20% annual bonus Benefits
