Position Summary:
MedInsight is seeking a
Sr. Product Manager
to join our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build robust, engaging healthcare analytic products. We are looking for candidates who feel passionate about representing our clients\' needs throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and prioritization to day-to-day development and release management.
The Sr. Product Manager will serve as a bridge between our engineering teams, go-to-market teams, actuaries, and clients to ensure that all stakeholders remain aligned on product vision, roadmap, and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, have a high attention to detail, and have experience working with cross-functional teams from a variety of backgrounds.
Primary Responsibilities
Leverage expertise in healthcare data analytics and actuarial modeling to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key Clinical Data Analytics products.
Own a full suite of products within their vertical (e.g., Clinical products, Payer market, Provider market, MedInsight's infrastructure) and collaborate with senior leaders on roadmap planning and product strategy.
Be integral to all phases of the product development lifecycle and work with the Product Engineering team to develop Big Data BI products for the healthcare industry.
Serve as an expert in clinical and financial risk management utilizing claims-based data sets.
Define and manage the creation and delivery of analytic healthcare reporting solutions.
Gather and prioritize customer requirements and feedback to represent the voice of users.
Develop a deep understanding of analytics products, market positioning, and competitive landscape.
Prioritize, scope, and define requirements for product features and capabilities.
Manage day-to-day operations of the teams building products, including sprint management and daily standups, and ensure development aligns with requirements.
Facilitate product releases with focus on quality assurance, risk mitigation, thorough documentation, and clear release communication.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, client support, sales, and executive leadership on product strategy and initiatives.
Create and maintain product roadmaps in collaboration with Product Strategy and Product Leadership teams.
Requirements and Preferred Skills Requirements:
7+ years of Product Management, Product Analyst, or similar relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, data analytics, or other relevant subjects
Expertise in the US healthcare industry
Experience with claims-based analytic methodologies and reporting (e.g., evidence-based quality measures, member and physician attribution, HEDIS)
Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans, and report conclusions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse cross-functional team
Ability to plan and manage concurrent projects with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with analytics technologies (e.g., Databricks, SQL, R, Python)
Experience with large normative data sets and/or research databases
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure)

Compensation The overall salary range for this role is $131,600 - $260,640.
For candidates residing in:
Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $144,760 - $238,920.
New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $157,920 - $260,640.
All other locations the salary range is $131,600 - 217,200.
A combination of factors will be considered, including education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This role can be located remotely within the United States.
