Role Description The Senior Manager, AI Partnerships will support the development of strategic partnerships and commercialization efforts for Visa’s agentic commerce initiatives—working across the ecosystem of companies building AI-powered platforms, AI agents, and infrastructure that enable secure and programmable payments. This role is central to shaping Visa’s presence in agentic ecosystems, where intelligent agents transact, negotiate, and orchestrate commerce on behalf of users and businesses. This role is part of Visa’s global Growth Products & Partnerships team, focused on rolling out and implementing industry-leading innovation products with strategic partners. The remit includes developing agentic commerce business lines and product partnerships within key emerging segments. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in and/or passion for AI-driven product ecosystems, GenAI workflows, and the ability to translate emerging technologies into scalable commercial models. The role requires a balanced mix of solutioning, sales, partnership development, and thought leadership. This role includes understanding in depth both Visa and partner capabilities, needs, and goals and driving towards successful outcomes which could include non-traditional deal execution, new product or market launches, solutioning and pilots, growing existing business lines, or other strategic priorities. Responsibilities

Business Development:

Structure and execute commercial agreements directly with digital platforms, AI companies, fintechs and key technology partners across Visa’s ecosystem. Develop vertical expertise in key growth areas and create segment strategies to grow Visa’s footprint across generative AI, payments, data, etc. Develop partner-facing collateral—including pitch decks, solution briefs, and go-to-market toolkits that clearly articulate Visa’s value proposition in agentic commerce and support scalable commercialization across AI-native platforms and emerging digital ecosystems. Structure and execute commercial agreements with digital platforms, AI companies, fintechs, and key technology partners to grow Visa’s ecosystem. Develop and refine vertical strategies for agentic commerce, including programmable payments, network protocols, and embedded financial intelligence. Support Visa’s engagement with agentic marketplaces, focusing on monetization models, trust frameworks, and agent identity. Product Partnerships & Solutioning:

Identify and champion opportunities to embed Visa capabilities into agentic workflows; work with product and technology leaders, structure business cases, translate complex ideas for diverse audiences, and navigate complex, bespoke deals. Support and manage discovery, ideation, and product solutioning with partners, collaborating with product owners and sales specialists. Lead solutioning efforts with partners building agentic interfaces, ensuring Visa’s products are integrated into agent decision-making and transaction flows. Thought Leadership:

Provide market and client feedback to Visa product teams to guide roadmap, go-to-market and commercialization strategies. Develop an “agent ready” narrative and approach to advance Visa’s leadership across growing ecosystems. Identify and sponsor strategic investments in agentic startups and foundational AI technologies that enable scalable agentic commerce. This is a broad, senior role requiring collaboration across product, technology, sales, and partnerships to drive meaningful business outcomes. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Self-starter with a strong bias toward action, able to connect dots across complex ecosystems, products, and partner landscapes. Demonstrated leadership through enthusiasm, ownership, and pride in delivering high-impact work. Significant experience in product, sales, and management within payments or financial services—ideally with exposure to AI, cross-border money movement, card networks, or account-to-account payments. Experience in and passion for working in AI-enabled environments, including companies with strong adoption of AI tools and/or intelligent product ecosystems. Skilled in planning, negotiating, and closing complex commercial deals, from strategy through execution. Strong storytelling and strategic framing capabilities, with a passion for improving financial services. Experience building executive-level communications and presenting to senior stakeholders. History of driving strategic initiatives and operational decisions in dynamic environments. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Strong interpersonal skills, including open communication, active listening, empathy, and the ability to inspire others. Additional Information
