Serve as the Workday SME for the Expense module, handling configuration, EIBs, integrations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day support. Lead the design, testing, and deployment of Workday finance expense solutions using best practices. Partner with business stakeholders and COEs to gather requirements, resolve pain points, and drive process improvements. Ensure data accuracy and implement ongoing enhancements to support new Workday features and functionality. Manage and execute Workday configurations, including business processes, security, and data flows. Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support domestic and international finance operations. Support Workday upgrades, testing, and implementing new or revised functionality. Deliver hands-on training and expand internal knowledge of Workday across cross-functional teams. Drive automation and process optimization through enhanced workflows and reporting. Create and maintain clear, comprehensive business requirements and provide functional design leadership Optimize business processes by automating manual tasks, enhancing workflows, and delivering actionable insights through data reporting. Create and maintain clear, end-to-end business requirements, providing thought leadership on functional design and continuous improvement Required Skills
Over 6 years of hands-on experience with Workday Expenses (Workday Finance), with strong proficiency in Workday HCM. Deep expertise in Workday Expense Configuration, including Security Administration, Business Process Configuration, and EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder). Proven functional knowledge of the Workday Expense module, including delivered functionality, report utilization, and performing core administrative tasks (e.g., undoing or advancing tasks, waiving requirements). Skilled in Workday testing processes, including regression, unit, UAT, and pre-launch testing; accountable for validating new features and enhancements. Participates in Workday release cycles, evaluating new features and recommending adoption strategies, particularly within Talent Management modules. Balances day-to-day system support with long-term enhancement projects involving Workday Expenses and related integrations. Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and developing custom integrations. Capable of customizing Workday Expense functionality, with a willingness to expand expertise into related platforms such as Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP. Hands-on experience in building and optimizing custom reports and dashboards in SaaS or enterprise systems. Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively across functional teams. Strong project management skills with experience leading and supporting the deployment of Workday features and enhancements. Effective communicator with strong analytical and multitasking skills, experienced in Agile development tools such as ServiceNow and Jira. E-Verify:
