Our client is a well-established supply chain and logistics transportation company. They are expanding their team and looking to bring on a
Senior Data Analytics Analyst . Salary/Hourly Rate: $90k - $110k Position Overview: This Senior Data Analytics Analyst role will focus on creating innovative models and robust insights for their customers, supply partners, internal operations, and business processes. This Senior Data Analytics Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify needs and help drive decision-making. Responsibilities of the Senior Data Analytics Analyst:
Define, build, and implement major analytics solutions and initiatives that drive business value.
Leverage data science techniques, including classification, clustering, PCA, regression, time series, etc., to develop unique solutions tailored to the industry.
Analyze business processes to find trends and patterns to automate or optimize work.
Gather business requirements from teams and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
Interpret and communicate data initiatives to all levels of the company, including management.
Develop dashboards leveraging datasets from multiple sources.
Track and refine business KPI’s and analytics results to ensure operations are running smoothly.
Work with the Data Integrity team to identify data improvements.
Conduct operational analytics to highlight customer behavior, pricing models, etc.
Create dashboards and analyses shared directly with customers and/or suppliers.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Data Analytics Analyst:
2 - 4 years of related experience working with performing analytics and Data Science techniques.
Coding experience with Python/R, SQL, and large dataset analysis; basic understanding of ETL processes.
Experience with dashboarding (Tableau preferred) and data visualization.
Advanced Excel and technical aptitude to learn applications.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Data Analytics Analyst:
Experience with Snowflake (or other cloud data warehouses), dbt, and Fivetran is preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
