LPL's Enterprise Data Warehousing team is working to build enhanced data and insights capabilities by transforming into Cloud applications. We are looking for a technical leader to drive the implementation and adoption of Cloud warehouse across multiple applications. This is a very hands-on role and will be working with a motivated team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Lead the Data Warehouse Product in design, development, enhancement and application migration to the Cloud. Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of DW (ETL, Data modeling, Data cleansing, Support on premise Database and Cloud Snowflake, AWS) Lead, coach, mentor and inspire a dedicated team of onshore and offshore developers to architect, build, deploy and support best-in-class software solutions for the customers. Drive resolution for technical issues and provide alternate solutions. Serve as resident expert in all database application deliveries with a focus on overall performance. Support release and post production support activities of the product. Support and remediation of existing application implementations and oversee all new implementations accessing databases. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related study accompanied by 15+ years of experience in Information Technology with at least 8+ years in Data Warehouse development and support. 3+ years of experience and resident expert of Cloud data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, AWS S3/Lambda/Glue/Air Flow and other AWS native technologies. Understanding of Data Vault, Warehouse, Lake and Hub architecture. Significant experience with application migrations and development (conceptual, logical and physical model design, Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts). Cloud ETL or ELT experience in one of the tools like Fivetran, DBT, stitch or Matillion. Expertise with SQL databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL server. Core Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts into comprehensible business terminology. Ability to work with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and planning skills and process orientation. Commitment to excellence in service, performance, and execution Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously as well as produce high-quality end to end solutions for complex data problems. Preferences: Experience in coding technologies like Python, Scala, and SQL. Experience with Informatica, Data Lake, Hadoop, MapR is a big plus. CI/CD, GitHub, and Octopus or equivalent experience is a plus. Experience in Fin-Tech industry is a plus. Pay Range: $135,000-$225,000/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
