About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Marketing Cloud Specialist with a strong background in web design to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, deploying, and optimizing marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud while also contributing to website design, UX/UI improvements, and front-end development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and execute email marketing campaigns using Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.)
Manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email marketing, customer journeys, segmentation, and reporting
Collaborate with the creative team to design responsive email templates and landing pages
Maintain and update subscriber data, including segmentation, data extensions, and imports
Monitor email sends, deliverability, and engagement analytics; provide performance reports
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to gather requirements and support campaign execution
Troubleshoot issues within the platform and support users in resolving technical problems
Ensure proper data integration between Marketing Cloud and CRM systems
Monitor, test, and analyze performance metrics to improve future campaigns
Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels
Collaborate with the web development team to implement web-based marketing initiatives, A/B testing, and personalization strategies
Stay current on Marketing Cloud updates, email marketing best practices, and web design trends
Required Skills and Qualifications
1-2 years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platforms like Adobe Campaign, HubSpot, etc.)
Knowledge of email best practices (CAN-SPAM compliance, responsive design, A/B testing)
Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in insurance marketing
Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development
Understanding of email deliverability, and email testing tools
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing
Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
Excellent communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Familiarity with AMPscript and/or SQL for segmentation and personalization
Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore)
Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, etc.)
Understanding of SEO and CRO best practices
Proficiency in HTML and CSS, Java Script
