Overview

We are seeking multiple highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. Headquarters United States Air Force, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration, SAF/SQ DoD Space Major Force Program (MFP), Space Programmer Support.

Responsibilities

Participate in the annual three-tiered level review of DoD Space MFP; bring together services/agencies across DoD and IC to determine content prior to submission to OSD/CAPE. Monitor MFP across services/agencies to determine duplication of effort and effects of players during Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) processes. Prepare DoD Space MFP funding charts for Principal Assistant to the SecAF for Space. Download/archive DoD Space MFP historical funding data from OSD/CAPE for comparison. Garner feedback from services/agencies related to DoD Space MFP Programs. Develop PPBE calendar across services/agencies to show effects to MFP programs. Develop MFP tracker showing results of PPBE decisions across all services/agencies. Work with Principal Assistant to the SecAF for Space to develop programming guidance and priorities memorandum. Track/import budget data on congressional committee and floor actions. Develop/use software tools to transform downloaded budget data into user-friendly worksheets that enable users to data in a variety of ways. Develop software-based value model to assist NSS community build costing and budgeting information for planning and programming documents, architectures and conduct trade-off studies. Develop tools/processes to improve way SAF/SQ conducts its plans/programming activities. Skills Required

Skills Required

15+ years' experience in or directly supporting DoD or NRO, and 10+ years PPBE activities. In-depth understanding of how the NSS community members do their budgeting. Leadership skills. Interpersonal skills. Organizational skills. Oral presentation skills. Executive writing and documentation skills. Desired Skills:

Working knowledge and experience with program control activities. Working knowledge and experience with DoD requirements and architecture processes. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, finished products that make a substantial contribution to the success of the customer with minimum oversight. Education

Masters Degree or equivalent in space, business, management, or technical field as a minimum.

Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
