Responsible for just-in-time planning, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and production activity control. Coordinate planning strategies for dependent and non-master items. Convert planned orders to production and purchase orders; verify material and capacity availability; release production orders for manufacturing. Convert requisitions into purchase orders with suppliers. Resolve issues by identifying work error messages, expediting material shortages, and coordinating with planners, sales, and purchasing. Balance demand with capacity for all items. Participate as a member of the supply chain, warehouse, and logistics teams. Utilize product knowledge and expertise in Just-in-Time, Lean Manufacturing, Materials Requirements Planning, Capacity Planning, ERP, Strategic Sourcing, and Production Activity Control. Prepare sourcing packages for projects and source vendors for materials, equipment, or supplies, including interviews to determine product availability and sales terms. Prepare and process purchase orders, review claims for conformance, and resolve invoice and delivery issues with suppliers. Ensure on-time delivery from all suppliers. Direct and coordinate activities related to buying and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies. Administer online purchasing systems. Perform additional duties as assigned and complete weekly backlog reports. Job Requirements

3-5 years of experience in retail inventory planning, allocation, or manufacturing. 4-6 years of systems and technology experience in manufacturing, procurement, or customer service. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office, especially Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems (SAP). Effective communication skills in spoken and written English. Ability to work collaboratively, handle stress, and respond effectively to pressure. Customer-focused with a commitment to corporate policies and ethical standards. Skills in negotiation, expediting, and vendor performance evaluation. Knowledge of purchasing in electronic, mechanical, and chemical components. Understanding of inventory and manufacturing systems. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Planning and analytical skills; experience with planning systems and business intelligence tools is a plus. APICS certification is a plus. Experience in purchasing and product management. Strong organizational and communication skills; process-oriented and team-focused.
